Fabulous Featured Follower Friday.....

It's Friday again and I am delighted to introduce the fearless and fabulous...KEARA!!

I am so excited that ye olde randome numbre generatore picked Keara today because she is one of my oldest and dearest internet friends. I had the opportunity to spend the weekend with her a couple of Summers ago and she is just as fabulous in person.

I truly owe this wonderful woman so much. I have mentioned her as one of the key players in my recovery from post-partum depression on this blog before. She truly was a God-send. She would IM with me for hours as I neurotically analyzed every thought and feeling I was having. (I'm sure it was an awesomely swinging good time for her), and gently, patiently and wisely guided me to the help that I needed. As well as helping me so much, she taught me how to help others and I can only pray that I am ever as helpful to another soul as she was to me.

In addition to her stellar mothering of to two beautiful red-heads, Kearu fosters and adopts rescue dogs. She has driven hours to go and them without batting an eyelid. She has a heart of gold. She is fun, witty and an awesome writer. She is also an epilepsy sufferer. I have learned a lot more about epilepsy through her and I am in awe of how well she copes with the different ramifications of the condition and the meds that she has to take to control it. Epilepsy is a really hard row to hoe, particularly as a mom to small children who depend on you. She is real about it, and the struggles but she is also incredibly brave through it.

I encourage you to visit her blog , educate yourself a bit more about epilepsy, and give her some love, she deserves it. I am so blessed to call her my friend!

What a great highlight. :) I think it's wonderful to have friends, no matter where they surface from, especially during times of need. Sometimes it's better (and easier) to get through what you need to get through without face to face judgment...and that's why the internet is such a beautiful thing and tool.
