Hello luvvies
A pinch and a punch for the first of the month! Consider yourself pinched and punched. There you are.
My good friend Julie began November, the month of gratitude by naming a few things she is thankful for. I am working on an epic "I-survived-October" post with a plethora of photos to go along with it but it seems appropriate to begin November on a more thoughtful (and grateful) note. So with that
1. I am thankful that I survived October with my sanity and health mostly intact.
2. I am thankful for all the things that made October hectic. Kids, healthy athletic kids, kids who have friends to party with, kids who look cute in Halloween costumes, being able to "stay at home" so that I can volunteer at my kids' school. Kids who inspire me to start and continue traditions which make this month exciting and cozy.
3. Friends of my own who make life so much more fun and easy.
4. My husband without whom I would never have survived October with my sanity intact.
5. My extended family who are very far away still... but when I remember back to the days when I was first married and the only feasible way of contacting them was via $1-$2 per minute phone calls, 3 week (one way) mail, or blurry faxes (wow this all makes me geriatric doesn't it? We have come rather a long way over the last decade, haven't we?), comparatively, they are now practically in my living room with free phone calls, skype, email, instant messaging and such, I really must concede that I am very blessed to at least be able to communicate with them on a regular basis.
I will post my all inclusive pictorial October wrap up tomorrow (hopefully). But hey, how about this? I pledge to post at least 5 things I am thankful for each day this month. Because gratitude is always nice, dontcha think? That's the goal for this month. Also, taking these thoughts to heart..
Happy November!
Because I have been given much

What a great idea! I think I'm going to do a thankful post as well =)
Grandma says I have candy waiting at her house. I'll try to get there before Bethany does. Thanks!
I really need that today! I read my scriptures everyday and say my prayers but as I watch this I am ashamed that I don't put more effort into it! That has been one of my favorite scriptures Josh. 24:15! Thanks so much!
