Happy birthday to my boyfriend Finny…

Here is a re-enactment of what I was doing at this moment, 6 years ago, and what he was doing.

(Except he was inside and a tad smaller and I was a tad larger and not quite as cheerful..but otherwise..just the same)

I suppose this one is not strictly accurate as he was not a breech baby..HOWEVER apparently he was clinging to me like a monkey since the labour (bear in mind it was my fourth) was 24 hours long. That’s right 2….4….unmedicated.

It’s such a good thing he turned out so cute. No?

Actually his birth was quite marvelous and magical and I remember it so very fondly. Here’s the story for those of you who are into that. (It was a hypno/water-birth) It was a fitting beginning for such a marvelous and magical little being. His body is 6 (sniff) but his spirit is ancient…and so spectacular. Happy birthday my little Finny of Finnster-ville. I adore you more then words can ever say. Seriously, like I don’t even know what to do with myself. That’s how much I love you.
