Summer Loving: The Beach (Part 2)

You didn’t think the last 1,000 photos I posted were all there were right? Pffft. of course not.
Oh? You missed The Beach Part 1? For shame! For shame. Make haste and peruse the sun, the sand, the surf…. the glory of it all, peruse I say, PERUSE good lady, good fellow!
And now for….Ella’s first foray into the lake (it was a bit chilly at first but as is typical for her,  she got over the initial shock within a few seconds and embraced the experience.)  She’s cool, that baby.DSC_0002DSC_0003DSC_0004DSC_0007DSC_0008

People started to gather to the beach at sunset. They brought wine and desserts and friends and sat on blankets to watch the show

I loved watching as this boat sailed in front of the setting sun. (Watch as it moves from right to left as the sun moves further and further down.) I just wish I’d stood closer to the shore so I could get clearer photos, I was really far back. But  I still got some pretty shots. There was no way not to get pretty shots. These are all straight out of the camera (no time for editing when you have this many shots.)

As the sun sunk into the water everyone applauded.   I wish I could spend every evening this way. It seems like such a celebration of life.  It’s sad to think of how many gorgeous sunsets God has provided that go largely unnoticed by so many of us.

Oh gorgeous! It reminds me of a wonderful warm summers evening on Fish Hoek beach with someone playing the sax. It was like a Coke advert! Your photography is excellent. Thanks for sharing your holiday with us.
